Savory Couscous with Curried Potato

Cous Cous is one of my favorite Go To’s for a lazy weekend Breakfast. Not too many ingredients. Not too much prep work: It’s on the table in 20 minutes! You can serve Couscous with vegetable stews or even chicken.

This recipe  has the fluffy hot Savory Couscous, paired with some simple curried potatoes. It’s a great Camping dish as well.

Couscous is made from semolina (granules of durum wheat). They are cooked by steaming till they are light and fluffy in texture. Couscous is very closely related to Pasta, also made form Durum Wheat. This dish is also very similar to Indian Upma, but it’s lighter and fluffier.
