To Keep Green chillies from spoiling quickly
Store bought green/red chillys can rot if you dont store them properly. Avoid wastage by following these simple steps.
- Rinse the chillies green/red/half ripe thoroughly to remove any rotten bits or imputities.
- Take off the stem easily by pulling out. Do not unture the chilly in the process. Leave in a strainer or on a paper towel to dry completely.
- Once absolutely free of moisture put the chillies in fridge or freezer safe tupperware or good quality containers and store.
- I keep mine in the fridge because I tend to use them up quite quickly. If you seldom use chillies you can keep them in the freezer.
