Chili Ginger Sauce for Chicken Rice

A spicy sauce that can be served as a side to rice and savory dishes. So simple to prepare.
It goes well with and is always served with chicken rice.

Chili Ginger Sauce for Chicken Rice

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 small red hot chilly padi( thai chilly pepper)
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 Inch ginger
  • 3 Tbsp lime juice(green calamansi lime)
  • 4 Tbsp real chicken stock OR 4 Tbsp(water with Light Soy Sauce)
  • ½ tsp sugar, salt  to taste



Method:

  • Put all ingredients into small mixer/blender and blend to a slightly grainy but not chunky chilly sauce!

Chili Ginger Sauce for Chicken Rice

Notes: 

  • This sauce is great served with plain white rice too along with scrambled eggs or with egg rolls/ spring rolls.
